Friday static
Another Friday night, and the silence in the apartment feels heavier than usual. The leaves outside are already turning, a crisp yellow, and the air smells like impending rain. My chest feels tight, like there's a knot under my ribs. Scrolling through feeds, everyone else seems to be out, laughing. My phone just feels cold in my hand.
