Empty beach chair

The Pacific feels so cold even with the sun baking everything. I watched a couple laugh, throwing a frisbee, and my chest just ached. It's Tuesday, June 18th, and the empty beach chair beside me feels heavier than it should. I just want someone to share this quiet with.
