Another weekend gone
My shoulders are heavy, like I'm still carrying the whole week. The couch feels impossibly soft, pulling me down. I just stared at the ceiling for twenty minutes, listening to the neighbor's kids yell. My eyelids feel gritty. I just want to disappear into the pillows.
